The #Abrasives Federation in the UK Discusses Economic Trends in the Industry

Paris, France (Tuesday, September 26th, 2017) - The British Abrasives Federation (BAF) held its General Assembly on Friday, September 22nd, 2017. Discussions focused on sales statistics and market estimates for abrasive products in the UK, possible Brexit scenarios and their impact on the UK economic activity, and new developments in the abrasive end-user training program. Indeed, more than 5,000 professional end-users have been trained thanks to the BAF training program.

FEPA was in representation at the meeting, highlighting the essential role of the national association to act on behalf of and to represent the European abrasives industry in the United Kingdom. FEPA and the BAF will reinforce their cooperation to support the activities of the BAF members, increase their visibility, and promote the safe use of Abrasives in the UK. The BAF also took this opportunity to unveil the rebranding of their logo.
