FEPA Wishes the German Abrasive Association a Happy Birthday

Berlin, Germany (Friday, September 15th, 2017) – The German Abrasive Association, the VDS, officially celebrates today the 100th anniversary of its foundation. Over 100 German abrasive producers is expected to attend a gala tonight. The VDS President, Gerald Lichter, want for this event to emphasize the values that allowed the association’s members to prosper throughout the technological and economic challenges of the last century: professionalism, self-discipline and fellowship. The VDS and its group of producers actively collaborate within FEPA on standardization work, the refinement of safety recommendations to end-users and the discussion of HSE issues. This active collaboration allows for the European abrasive industry to assert itself as an innovative leader in solving economic, R&D and environmental issues across Europe and in the world.

FEPA is proud to count the VDS and its members among its most assiduous contributors. The Federation wishes the VDS team a happy birthday and many more successful years as a pillar of the German abrasive industry.
